Nachtdienst? Weekenddienst? VrijMiBo-dienst!
Het is weekend. Althans. Voor de kantoorlaven. De mensen met de modale uren. Maar een grote groep mensen gaat straks de nachtdienst in. Of de weekenddienst. Om dit land te laten draaien. Als bewaker, als opzichter, als verzorger, als artsen, als pechhulpfiguren, als winkelpersoneel of juist in de horeca, als havenarbeider, in de wegenbouw of in de logistiek. Zwaar werk. Zware uren. Om dit land draaiende te houden als u slaapt, stapt of sport. Of om de zieken te verzorgen, de bejaarden te wassen, een oogje in het zeil te houden in het kinderziekenhuis en te zorgen dat mensen überhaupt deze nacht of dit weekend levend door komen. Verpleegsters. Verplegers. Helden zijn het, stuk voor stuk. U doet *plop* en zakt neer op de bank. Zij doen *plop* en vervangen weer een infuus. Een verpleegster met nachtdienst verdient meer respect dan een wielrenner die zonder doping een etappe in de Tour wint. Een verpleger met weekenddienst verdient meer kudo's dan Messi die Barcelona naar de kwartfinales dribbelt. Fuck Griekenland, fuck het koningshuis, fuck de JSF, al onze gelds naar de verpleegsters. Omdat ze het waard zijn. Verpleegsters en verplegers, nachtdiensters en weekendwerkers, deze is voor jullie! Prettig weekend. En be nice.
