Van de regen naar de VrijMiBo
Het is weekend. Zo mooi, zo fris, zo schoon. Zo ook precies het tegenovergestelde. Het land waar ik woon, Vecht voor het bestaan en lief heb. Waar alles duurder wordt maar ook weer ondersteund wordt als ik niets heb. Ons land. zo klein, en de wereld ook. Grenzen vervagen, macht overgedragen. Nederland is niet meer het centrum van de wereld. Maar de wereld heeft ons nodig, en wij haar. Het land van verbonden en afspraken. Allianties, aktes, regels, verdragen. Groot in het voorlopen, en strategie. Plek voor vrijheid , zoekers, mentaal en fysiek. Joden, Hugenoten, moslims, filosofen. Oorlogslachtoffers die aankomen per boot. Surinamers, antis, turken, Marokkanen, indo's, polen. Het geeft ons kleur, het maakt ons groter. Wie zijn wij en waar staan we. De grote vraag maakte van handelaren, wereldveroveraars. De ontdekking van de houtzaagmolen voor de scheepsvaart maakte ons koning ter water. Voor het graan, voor de specerijen. Badhuizen vol, grachtenpanden, rederijen. We zagen zoveel, zijn zo groot, maar als het kantelt, zien we massamoord, apartheid, slavernij en de slavenhandel. Prettig weekend. En be nice.
