Het is weekend. Dat gevoel dat je porno aan het downloaden bent op de huiscomputer en de sleutel van je ouders in de deur hoort draaien. Wie is er sneller, je ouders of de download? Dat gevoel dat je al een kwartier op een lege tank rijdt, maar het tankstation nog zeker een kwartier verder rijden is. Wie is er sneller, de lege tank of het tankstation? Dat gevoel dat je nog een half uur in de bus zit, maar de batterij van je telefoon op 2% staat. Wie is er eerder, de bus of de lege batterij? Dat gevoel dat je tegen de wind in fietst op weg naar je sollicitatie en het spannend wordt of je het op tijd haalt. Wie is er eerder, jij op de fiets of de klok die uur nul slaat? De spanning die ontstaat als twee zaken strijden op een tijdslijn om als eerste hun doel te bereiken, waarbij jij emotioneel geïnvesteerd bent in slechts één van die zaken. Die spanning zuigt. Prettig weekend. En be nice.
