Is de koning zo oud
dat in plaats van een zak veren
een vogel over hem heen gelegd wordt
en hij blijft liggen als
wie onder iedereen die hij gekend heeft ligt
totdat hij geen voetstappen meer hoort
en het donker geworden is?
Is hij zo koud
dat hij mist wie op hem ligt?
