Het is weekend. Het is oorlog. Nog wel.
vroeger vond ik de herfst
een droevig seizoen
en liep ik vaak moe
en eenzaam door regen of nevel te druilen.
En soms was ik weemoedig
om ik weet niet wat.
maar nu - toch zoveel ouder -
midden in een grijze stad
geniet ik van het najaar
daar - dank zij oliestook -
mijn vrouw vaak in bikini
door het huis heen deint
waar het binnen zomer blijft.
