en bang en gelukkig zijn.
Een geluk dat geen raad weet;
men bekijkt een glas
met aandacht, er is een barst in
en lacht en wiegelt het hoofd
als een kindse oude vrouw
die een broodkorst van tafel stoot, en lacht.
Ik leg mijn hoofd op mijn armen
en kijk op en leg het weer neer.
Ik weet zelf niet of ik gelukkig ben.
