Het leuke van een tuin
is dat je hem voortdurend
snoeien moet,
of snoeien, noem het
oogsten, of wat je zoal
met snijbloemen doet,
snijden, in een vaas zetten,
de stelen, in knop
waar men de bloem in ziet,
of bloem, noem het poëzie,
of gewoon verhaal, want
wie niet waagt die knoeit,
wie schrijft die snijdt,
wie snijdt die bloeit.
